دادی ہمیشہ صبح جلدی اٹھتی ہیں۔
Daadi hamesha subah jaldi uthti hain.
Grandmother always wakes up early in the morning.
💡 Dadi is one person, but the verb is "uthti hain" (plural). Why? Honorific plural - Urdu uses plural verbs for elders even when speaking about them in third person, as a sign of respect.
وہ پہلے نماز پڑھتی ہیں، پھر چائے بناتی ہیں۔
Woh pehle namaz parhti hain, phir chai banati hain.
First she prays, then she makes tea.
باورچی خانے میں الائچی کی خوشبو پھیل جاتی ہے۔
Bawarchi khane mein elaichi ki khushboo phail jaati hai.
The aroma of cardamom fills the kitchen.
مجھے دادی کی بنائی ہوئی چائے سب سے زیادہ پسند ہے۔
Mujhe daadi ki banaayi hui chai sab se zyada pasand hai.
I like grandmother's tea the most.
وہ کہتی ہیں، "اچھی چائے میں محبت ہوتی ہے۔"
Woh kehti hain, "Achhi chai mein mohabbat hoti hai."
She says, "Good tea has love in it."
