Do-Chashmi He

دو چشمی ہے

Sound: h (aspirated)IPA /ʰ/Joins both sides

How it works

Never stands alone - it ALWAYS comes after another consonant to add a "puff of air". So bhai = b + breath (not "bee-hai"). Compare ghar (gh + breath, not "g-har") and chai (ch + breath). This is "aspiration" - the difference between English "p" in "spin" (no aspiration) and "pin" (aspirated).
